I first heard this in an episode of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, this being the official anthem of the United Federation of Planets.
This anthem deserves lyrics, and I thought I’d put something together for you to sing along.
Old Form (2161 - 2173)
Hark to my words: this vow I swear
To travel on the paths no one shall dare
This shall be my purpose; to make all things whole,
Finding companions for this weary soul.
Bring me my wings, my sacred flight
Lifting my soul to the deepest of night
Unto the stars from all hardship and pain
