Something Old ...

Today’s question is “Oldest game you’ve played.”

That’s easy - it’s also my first roleplaying game, ever. Traveller.

I know, most gamers get into D&D. I didn’t. I went straight for the science fiction roleplaying game, in its little black box with those three tiny black books.

I still have a great fondness for the original game, even though I would never play the old LBBs game any more, ever.

Traveller was the first game I owned; the first game I played; and the first game I ran. There’s not much else to say about it. The first of many memories I ever had of roleplaying. Thanks to Marc W Miller.
