Always busy doing something ...
I am currently working, in a unique community centre operating in the heart of my hometown. The wage is good. The staff are good.
Back home, I have projects to complete. The work never ends.
Welsh Translation
I want to create a Welsh language roleplaying game core rulebook. It’ll be the first of its kind. It’s not exactly a race against stiff competition.
Add to that a book and course I want to put together to explain the basics of hypnosis in hypnotherapy, in Welsh and in English, for the local communities to use.
I recently woke up with an outline in my mind for a book teaching the basics of Vedic Mathematics and Trachtenberg Mathematics in Welsh.
On top of all that … I’ve long wanted to write a book of weird fiction, a la Lovecraft or Peredur Glyn, in Welsh, set in Wales.
Roleplaying Games
A publisher made an announcement today, which brings the possibility of roleplaying game core rulebooks based on some of my unpublished fiction settings somewhat closer to becoming a reality.
DoubleZero is set to be released in a v3.0 format next week - including a System Reference Document and Creative Commons License which allows for third party creators to publish independent roleplaying games based on DoubleZero. That means modern settings, police and medical procedurals, military procedurals, soaps, and dramatic series of all sorts. Anything from hard science fiction settings to soft space opera, to all manner of weirdness out of Fringe and The X Files.
The fantasy equivalent, Fantasy Manifesto, is coming out not long afterwards, allowing you to recreate the feel of many fantasy settings of all kinds. Excalibur to Monty Python and The Holy Grail to The Pickwick Papers to Lord of The Rings if you like.
Which means I can get on with creating the Taken Under, Chaotician, Chronicles of Shirae, and Den & Lauren roleplaying games.
Books
I would like to convert many of my stories into books. Taken Under, The Chronicles of Shirae, Den & Lauren, and The Chaotician could be brought together, expanded, and turned into novels or, at the least, novellas.
Blogs
Work on my blogs, including this one, is still ongoing. I’m contemplating changing the schedules of one of my tumblr side posts to come out on Sunday at 9pm, the same time as my Spiral Room blogs.
Hypnotic Blogs
I miss writing posts to my hypnosis blogs The Hypnotician and Inductions. I need to write new posts for those blogs. My BRP Central blog post is now being rescheduled to come out on the last Sunday night of any given month, again at 9pm.
And that’s it.
If I think of anything else, I’ll add it to this list here. In any case, there’s a lot of work to be done. I’ll tell you about my time management regime some time.
