The games I have played, and run, have changed over the years. I started with Traveller, moved on to FASA’s Star Trek, then Call of Cthulhu, slowly migrated to White Wolf’s games, fell in love with Mage: the Ascension, then Hunter: the Reckoning, before settling with Mythras, dabbling in Harnmaster, and eventually Traveller again.

But I think the systems I really want to play nowadays are all Lightspress Media titles - DoubleZero, in particular, a modern game where magic powers are de-emphasised, in favour of human, humane, interactions.

Later this year, The Suspicion Engine will be making its debut, replacing DoubleZero (which is a homage to an old game themed around a well-known British spy), and I think I want to explore that core book.
